I sat today thinking about attachment in general and the hurt it can create to lose something or someone you are really close to or believe that you will have in your life for ever, it is majorly daunting to think that you are mortal and that at some point change will present itself through transition. Once you become aware of your attachments whether physical, material or spiritual you can begin to notice that all of it has been given to us on loan for this lifetime.....our families, our friends, our loves, our homes, our cars, our pets and our bodies. Sometimes through spiritual contracts we may experience another life with a spirit in the group you have chosen for this lifetime, but the guarantee that the relationship will be the same is none and dependent on whether the karma cycle has completed in that relationship. To accept that your belongings in this lifetime is on loan allows you to step back and give more of yourself and your heart to them, knowing that happiness and joy were the major lessons to perhaps be learnt in addition to forgiveness. To be able to experience relationships whether plutonic or otherwise without judgement, without fear, jealousy or expectations because your focus has gone within and you have accepted life for what it is. To say that I have completed this lesson with all would be far from the truth, I am learning and have succeeded in some instances while in others I take three steps backwards for every one step forward, but the satisfaction and release that I have felt in those that have come to play is exceptional and incredible, to love someone whether a friend or family without all of the attachments and judgement is truly a blessing. To surrender is a gift in itself. Surrender to love, surrender to attachments, surrender to fear, surrender to freedom, just surrender!

Are you aware of attachments in your life. We all have strong links to material and physical objects in our lives, whether it be a favorite book, jewelry, money, relationship, children, husband, wife, house, jobs, pets. Attachments can also present themselves in the form of actions , like needing to exercise , having a set appointment for reflexology, paying bills.....etc. basically things that you feel you cannot live without or have no choice but to do, because if for one minute the plan changed all hell will break loose! They can sometimes give us reasons to live or make living a bit more stressful.
Being attached to someone or something usually comes as a result of fear, fear of losing or not having that object or person or pet in our lives anymore, funny thing is that in the end none of these attachments really belonged to us in the beginning, they are all on loan to us during this lifetime, every object, every relationship...it's all on loan for us to learn and complete our missions on the earthly plain. Sometimes becoming too attached can create conflict or loss, because holding on to something too tight suffocates the energy surrounding the person/people. It can be difficult and heart wrenching lesson to learn to let go and release the attachment that you have created, but with love and acceptance it can be a little less pain staking. Be aware of what you are attached to, what you can't live without, make a list, notice how this attachment affects you in your personal relationships - this is Lesson #1.

As the Full Moon starts to wane this week's topic will be on Attachment and our natural instinct as a physical race in keeping attachments and believing that we must hold on to material things as well as relationships that no longer serve us for our highest good. We will also look at releasing this attachment and removing the negative energy from maintaining such hold. The Waning moon is an excellent time to begin this kind of work or any work relating to removing and releasing.

I had the most excruciating headache today, couldn't quite figure where it came from, but after taking 1/2 of a pain killer (you know it would have to be a bad headache as I don't take any medication at all), I resorted to Reiki and prayer. I realized after a bit that I had been absorbing all sorts of foreign energies from physical people as well as spirit communication, but the sounds way too loud and muffled to decipher and separate. I cleared all of my chakras by connecting them to my clearing vacuum and remembered and old trick that one of my guides showed me for healing a headache. Close your eyes and take about 4 deep breaths, inhale the air into your tummy and fill it up making your stomach expand, hold it in for 4 seconds and release all of the air, when you have done this 4 times focus on your third eye chakra, clear it out by placing a clear bag/rose in front of it and allow any energy, images, sounds etc. to be released and fill the rose/bag. Once  cleared focus on closing the chakra completely. This is an instant fix!

Live excitement, live adventure....as life moves on I sense a great need to be adventurous and seek experience in all areas of my life however time always seems to elude my excitement for daily life can sometimes intervene with commitments;  work, study, cooking, kids...etc. I am making it a point this year to not make excuses and so I started to look at life slightly different, slightly from another angle. Time, time and more time, but what is time? Time was created by man for spirit knows of no such thing. Time in some ways is excellent as it keeps us on schedule, get to work for 8:30am, have lunch at midday, it tends to keep us inline with our duties, but it also gives us an age and a timeline in which we should live. Look at how we ask a kid "How old are you?" are we really asking him that or are we asking "What time are you, how many hours, years and days have you  lived?", so then the question of what value does time have to man spurs I deeply wonder if we could ever live freely without time, to enjoy each breath, to enjoy each smile, to enjoy each vision, and to enjoy life at a slower pace without hurriedly trying to get things done in time. Time means nothing to spirit, in readings I have experienced this a lot, there really is no definite timeline and to differ between past, present and future it does not present itself by a watch or a clock but just as an experience. We instill time into each little child's brain from the time they are born, I just asked my son if time is important to which he responded "Well Yes" at 5 years old he believes time is important because if not one will get to work late. So the link between time and work are very strong. When we are on our death beds we do not wonder how we can fit more time into each day, but we wish that we had filled our lives with more experiences, more fun and more love, that we had taken the opportunity to live our lives to the fullest and definitely not hurriedly to meet timelines!
